In the marketing world, radio has earned the reputation of being
the odd step-cousin. You know the one. No one knows quite what
to do with him. Especially at family gatherings when everyone
tries hard to avoid sitting with him. (After all, who knows WHAT
he'll start talking about.)
Much of that reputation comes from radio being tough to track.
On one hand, radio does work. Businesses do notice an increase
in sales when they add radio to the mix. However, radio doesn't
test well. In surveys and ...

Banner advertising is an effective way of getting your
advertising message seen on the Internet. Banner ads should not
be your only online form of advertising, but they are an
essential part of your online advertising mix.
This article assumes that the reader knows what a banner ad
looks like, but do you know how they work, and how you can
derive benefit from them? Let's define a few terms before
answering these questions.
1. 'Page views' or 'page impressions.' These terms are
interchangeable ...

There are a variety of advertising options available to online
business owners small and large. There's traditional banner
advertising, text ads of both static and contextual varieties,
popups and popunders, layer ads and pay-per- click search engine
advertising.
For just about any business looking to advertise online,
pay-per-click search listings should come first and be used to
their maximum potential before investing elsewhere. They are the
foundation of most online advertising plans, ...

It occurred to me today, while driving along a road that I
travel quite regularly that a lot of home business people are
missing out on great low cost and almost free advertising. Why
did I come to this realization while driving down that road that
I've driven down time and time again? Because I read the same
sign that I read each and every time I drive that road - "Ron
Bus Equipment Rentals Open Mon-Sat".
There is a multitude of inexpensive ways to advertise and
generate leads for your ...

As you begin marketing and promoting your online business you
are going to run into some unbelievable advertising
opportunities. Generally speaking if the ad offering sounds too
good to be true--It is.
There are companies that will tell you they will get you listed
in the top 10 search engines or place your link on millions of
sites or they will get you listed in the top 10 returns of
search engines. This last one sounds similar to the first, but
there is a big ...

I sat down with a client recently and went through the steps
involved in setting up an online advertising campaign. The first
meeting was a bit slow as we spent the entire time going over
the terminology associated with online ad campaigns. Here's a
sampling of what we had to cover before we could begin to work
on the terms of the deal.
What types of ads are there? Everyone has heard of banners, and
often that term is used for any online ad, but there's more to
it than that. The Interactive ...

Well this has been a busy day. I am truly fatigued. So I may cut
my writings today short, but not cheap. We set a sales record
today and entered more new printing orders than any other day
since our inception in 1989. Today was a banner day'great.
What I want to write about today was advertising' 1) When should
I advertise? 2) How should I advertise? 3) How much of a budget
should I allow?
These are the three BASIC questions each business needs to
answer before listing in any advertising ...

So you've decided that maybe, just maybe, the rat race isn't for
you. So what are your alternatives? I suppose you could quit
society, move to a remote area and live off the land. But I'm
going to go ahead and assume that's not an option. What is an
option is starting your own home based business. Millions of
people around the world are already discovering the financial
and time freedom that comes with owning a home business. Easier
said than done, you say! Of course it is! Everything is ...
